Rochelle Schube, LCSW, OSW-C, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Board Certified Oncology Social Worker with more than 12 years of clinical experience, including five years specializing in oncology. As an Oncology Social Worker at Atlanta Cancer Care, she provides comprehensive psychosocial assessments, short-term counseling, crisis intervention, and practical resource navigation for individuals and families affected by cancer. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, she helps patients navigate the emotional and practical challenges that accompany a cancer diagnosis while promoting compassionate, patient-centered care.
Rochelle also facilitates a weekly Living with Cancer support group through the Cancer Support Community, creating a supportive space for individuals with any cancer diagnosis and at any stage of their experience to connect, process, and build resilience. Her background in hospice and bereavement counseling continues to inform her approach, bringing a strong foundation in grief support, communication, and whole-person care.
An active leader in the oncology social work community, Rochelle serves as Past President of GA-SWOG and as the Georgia State Representative for the Association of Oncology Social Workers. She has presented at national conferences on topics including the psychosocial impact of hereditary cancer, integrating palliative care conversations into oncology practice, and the influence of lived experiences and trauma on career choice. Outside of work, Rochelle enjoys reading, traveling, spending time with family, and spoiling her rescue pup, Chicken Nugget.
