Erin Edgeworth, LCSW, OSW-C, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Oncology Social Worker with more than 20 years of experience in oncology patient support and more than 12 years as an oncology social worker at Atlanta Cancer Care.
Erin provides comprehensive psychosocial assessments, short-term counseling, crisis intervention, distress screening, and resource navigation for patients and their family. She collaborates with members of the multidisciplinary team to provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
In addition to her clinical practice at Atlanta Cancer Care, Erin has co-facilitated multiple sessions of the Mind Over Matter psychoeducational program, helping patients develop practical coping skills and strategies to navigate the emotional challenges of cancer.
She has presented at the Association of Oncology Social Work (AOSW) Annual Conference and previously served for six years on the Georgia Social Work Oncology Group (GA-SWOG) Board of Directors.
In her spare time, Erin and her husband enjoy traveling and playing video games as well as spending time with their cats.
