We are looking for a highly motivated, eager learner that is compassionate and patient-focused to fill our full-time, outpatient APP position inĀ Sandy Springs, GA, four days a week with one remote day.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations of hematology/oncology patients
- Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
- Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
- Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous APP experience in hematology/oncology required. Unfortunately, this position is not open to new graduates.
- Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program with an unencumbered current PA or NP license
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and build rapport with patients, peers and staff
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
