ACC Participates in Feathers 5K Run

On Saturday, June 6th, our team proudly laced up their running shoes and headed to Oglethorpe University to participate in the Atlanta Cancer Care Foundation’s (ACCF) annual Feathers 5K Run and Walk.

This wonderful, family friendly community event brought the community together to help make the financial burden of cancer as light as feather.  ACC was also incredibly honored to receive a donation from ACCF in recognition to our team’s active participation and support.

Who is ACCF?

The Feathers 5k directly benefits ACCF, a fantastic local nonprofit dedicated to easing the emotional and financial stress that so often accompanies a cancer diagnosis. ACCF provides critical financial assistance to adults living with cancer across a 17-county metro Atlanta service area.

The impact of their work is profound

• Over $479,000 in direct financial assistance was distributed by ACCF in 2025
• More than 1,700 metro Atlanta cancer patients in financial need received vital support last year alone.
