
After completing his fellowship training at Groote Schuur Hospital, Dr. Dubovsky opened a private practice in Cape Town, South Africa where he treated patients until 1986. Leaving his home and practice to further pursue his medical training, he came to the United States and completed another year of clinical fellowship in hematology and oncology at the Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. Highly regarded and referred to as Dr. "D" by patients and medical staff, he came to Atlanta Cancer Care in 1987. Dr. Dubovsky is currently the President of Atlanta Cancer Care, and hold positions at St. Joseph's Hospital as Chairman of the Institutional Review Board and Director of the Cancer Data Center. Dr. Dubovsky is a U.S. citizen and has permanently settled in Atlanta with his family.
